Change the account token


Tokens are used on public pages for schedules, calendars, and requesting time off without the requirement of signing in to WorkSked. Tokens create obfuscated URLs that prevent others from seeing your data. The benefit of using tokens for public pages is that regular employees do not have to sign in to interact with WorkSked.

Only the account owner can change the account token. Contact the account owner if you do not have sufficient access rights.

Follow these steps to change the account token:

  • Go to the Settings page.
  • Select the Regenerate Token link.

Warning: Regenerating the account token will invalidate all employee links to public pages. Only regenerate the account token if absolutely necessary.
